Come Back Home
by Kathy Marshall

I have written many songs that Gangaji inspired. The first one started with Freedom Train back in 2010. It was during my first satsang in Portland, OR  that Gangaji told the story of Papaji asking people to leave your baggage behind and get on the Freedom Train. I went home and wrote a song about it in a gospel melody. I got to sing this for her one time and it was so fun as she sang along!

Since then I have written many more. The one I want to share today is a song called Come Back Home. I sang it at the 30th celebration of Gangaji’s teachings.  It was again inspired by an online satsang during Covid where Gangaji was talking about Home. I wrote the song in 2020, not totally understanding it until my life hit some curve balls in 2022 and then I understood the song and in particular this line on a deep heart level: Lose everything and come back home, don’t name it, just for a moment, stop spinning and come back Home.

If would be honored to have you listen to more songs, my website is www.kathymarshallmusic.com

“This is your resting place, your watering hole. Find what supports you, what includes you, and drink it in. Be nourished. Be enlivened. And when you feel thirsty again, drink some more.” —Gangaji
