A few weeks ago we were delighted to receive a link to this outstanding composition featuring Gangaji's words and a meditative soundscape created by Sergiu Salagean.
Sergiu Salagean is a composer and sound artist whose music explores the space between silence and sound, emotion and awareness. His creative process is rooted in stillness, nature, and the unseen. The Challenge emerged after a moment of deep resonance with Gangaji’s teaching, offering a contemplative soundscape for presence and inner truth.
"When I first heard Gangaji’s words—“stop looking, not cynically, but simply stop”—something deep within me responded. That stillness became the seed for The Challenge, a musical expression of that moment beyond searching."
"I create music mostly as a way to connect with myself and the unseen forces that guide us. But deep inside, I feel a calling that tells me this music can inspire others too. When I work with sound, it often feels like I’m receiving a healing directly from the universe—and I would feel that my purpose is fulfilled if others, even for a moment, feel the touch of the divine through what flows through me. I’m simply a channel, and grateful to be one."

“This is your resting place, your watering hole. Find what supports you, what includes you, and drink it in. Be nourished. Be enlivened. And when you feel thirsty again, drink some more.” —Gangaji

"I have found writing these letters to a prisoner to be a most intimate and deepening act of love towards myself, as well as a way of appreciating and acknowledging our shared human beingness."
