Gangaji Community
30th Anniversary Video
by Barbara Denempont
October 23, 2023

Hello friends,

Please watch this tribute to a loving community that has been dedicated to sharing this invitation to peace with the world for thirty years. That includes you!

Also take a peek at photos taken at the October Ashland retreat, read a truly moving letter of gratitude we recently received from a prisoner in the Freedom Inside course, and see what more we have accomplished in just a few months.

With gratitude for you, Barbara

“I celebrate meeting Papaji and I celebrate that he introduced me to you. I celebrate you and that somehow in your life there arose this desire to be true, to live deeply and fully. That is the mystery that brought us together.”

  • Provided $5,700 in scholarships for both online and in-person retreats
  • Delivered the Freedom Inside monthly course materials to over 700 prisoners each month
  • Published new episodes of Gangaji’s podcast, Being Yourself, (downloaded over 45,000 times since July 1)

From a Prison program volunteer

"I have found writing these letters to a prisoner to be a most intimate and deepening act of love towards myself, as well as a way of appreciating and acknowledging our shared human beingness."
