“There is a certain point when the desire to serve something is more important than the desire to get something. That is a secret, wonderful moment. This is where we meet.” ~Gangaji
There is a sacred hunger and beauty alive in each of us. It is what brings us together, so that it can be discovered more deeply and more freshly.
“Resting in truth. Standing in truth. Stepping up to the incredible opportunity to be fully who we are. Who knows how much time we have left, but there's time enough to rest and stand up in truth.” —Ann-Marie, Ontario
“Donorship is an expression of love. No matter the size of our contributions, we throw ourselves fully behind this possibility of peace, especially now in a world that seems more chaotic by the day. Donors are what makes the Gangaji Foundation possible. For us, giving is a natural response to being so very grateful.”—Donor Collaborative

The sacred hunger for peace and freedom knows no borders or boundaries. It penetrates prison walls and past conditioning. At the heart of that longing, each of us has the capacity to discover the truth of who we are and to live an authentic life, beyond unnecessary suffering.
Even in the midst of chaotic and uncertain times, Gangaji’s life-changing invitation calls us home—to discover the peace that is always present, no matter our circumstance. This is why we invite you to stand with Gangaji and the global community in helping make this message of peace available to others.
If Gangaji’s invitation has benefited your life, then you have your own experience of its impact. Perhaps this invitation was made available to you through the generosity of someone you will never know. Your gift can make it available to someone else.
I invite you to contribute to the work of the Foundation so that people everywhere have the opportunity to discover the peace and freedom that is their birthright. Keep reading to see the lives your gift can touch.
With love and gratitude,
Barbara Denempont
Executive Director
Our collective efforts can continue to meet this sacred hunger behind prison walls. Your contribution helps us respond to the dozens of inquiries we receive each week, makes Gangaji’s Freedom Inside course available to prisoners both by regular mail and via tablet, provides books free of charge, and sustains the peer-to-peer correspondence program.
As of this writing, 9,300+ men and women living behind bars have accessed Gangaji’s Freedom Inside course via mail or tablet just in the last year. Another 3,000 Spanish speakers accessed the Spanish edition of the course. El amor es digno confianzo.

In 2026, we want to keep our commitment to this long-standing and truly meaningful tradition that has a real and heartfelt impact. The words of this scholarship recipient say it best…

Gangaji Foundation staff, donors, and volunteers have been building the archives since recordings first began in the early 90s. Our challenge is to make thousands of hours of recordings accessible and explorable for future generations.
Imagine a “librarian” helping future users find the videos, audios, and written content that support their spiritual inquiry. AI can help us realize this possibility sooner than we imagined, but it will never replace Gangaji or speak for her. What it can do is clean up transcriptions, build a structured database, develop translations into many languages, and improve the quality of audio/video.
Your contributions to the Archive Program will make accessible Gangaji’s invitation to peace in a way that has not been possible until now. Yes, our children’s children can benefit the way we have. What a gift that would be!
