Our Responsibility for Peace

The Dive Into Living Freedom

Hello everyone,

Many of you may be aware that for the past two years, Gangaji and the team at the Foundation have created a course for those living behind bars. It is called: Freedom Inside: A Course in Self-Inquiry. There are currently two workbooks and a third on the way.

These workbooks were designed specifically to support prisoners, but the topics are just as relevant to those of us on the "outside." That’s why this course is now being offered online through Gangaji Live. As Gangaji says, "Until you discover your inner freedom, all of life will seem to imprison you. And when you are free inside yourself, no outer walls can contain your peace and love."

We are so incredibly grateful to the many donors and volunteers who are supporting the GF Prison Program. There are already nearly 300 prisoners taking Gangaji’s Freedom Inside course in over 150 prisons. Our dream is to get the course into the hands of more prisoners and prison libraries, and to offer an in-person course for those living “inside.”

I always say this, but it’s true: We couldn’t have these dreams and accomplish sharing Gangaji’s message with so many, living in all walks of life, without your support.

While on the topic of bringing Gangai’s message to others, I wanted to share a recent interview she did with Andrew Mount, the host of a local podcast in Ashland. I really loved this interview and the great questions he asked Gangaji on topics ranging from the desire to be free, what it means to live a conscious awakened life, and the responsibility that goes with that. If you have a moment to listen to the exchange, I highly recommend it.

I send my endless love and support to all and look forward to being with some of you in person in the coming months.

Lorraine Wilson
