April – Divine Disillusionment
When you realize that all the work you have done to improve yourself has failed to bring you lasting happiness and fulfillment, there is a great disillusionment. In the pain and heartbreak of losing hope that we can transcend or escape our circumstances there arises the longing for true freedom. This is what Gangaji calls the “divine disillusionment” because it opens the door to self-realization.
