Hope, Potential, & Purpose

Following our discussion of physical death, we look at another kind of death, the death of who we think we could or should be. It is a radical step to stop imagining what may be possible in the future. Taking such a step (or leap) may feel counterintuitive, destructive, and horribly dangerous; but in one radical moment of self-inquiry, we can set aside any concept of future fulfillment, set aside any hope of escaping our circumstances. In this surrender, are we lost or are we found?
