Dear ,
We always look forward to that moment of welcoming you into Gangaji’s "living room" for our small group retreats. Until today, we felt we could keep the small group retreats in March and April on the calendar. We have been carefully monitoring the latest information about the Coronavirus, and that has brought us to a different decision.
Last night I was reading the latest updates. What doctors are making clear is that we are about to see a large surge in new cases. What the circumstances look like today is likely to be quite different in 10 days or two weeks. I was very moved by the clarity of Washington State Governor, Jay Inslee. As he faces one of the most difficult situations in his state, he calmly encouraged us all to do our part in reducing everyone’s risk by not congregating in groups.
It is important to us to not put anyone at risk in the midst of this surge. Both the March and April small group retreats will be canceled. We are sorry to have to share that news, but Gangaji and I both feel strongly that taking responsibility for our actions, with love, is a wonderful way to show solidarity with those on the frontlines of this health crisis.
A special call with Gangaji on Sunday March 15 at 3 pm PT
For all those registered for the March and April small group retreats, Gangaji invites you to join her for an online conference via zoom. It will just be time to be together and connect in the midst of all that is happening. Please click here to register for this one-off meeting.
Your event registration
While the March and April small group retreats will be canceled, Gangaji is adding an additional small group retreat to her calendar on October 16-18. You can transfer your registration to that event or any Small Group Retreat or other event on Gangaji’s calendar.
If you decide to cancel your registration, you can cancel at no charge or you may decide to donate part of your refund. Please click here to let us know how you would like us to handle your registration. We will be in touch.
Other events...
We have no plans to cancel any additional events at this time. That includes Fallen Leaf Lake. We will continue to keep the community updated on the calendar of events.
These are the moments when our love and support for each other is essential. And we have the capacity to open our hearts to it all.
Please take good care and be in touch.
In peace,
Barbara Denempont
