At Peace in the Unknown
October 24, 2001 Ashland, OR At this moment in time there are huge and apparent unknowns—politically, culturally, and globally—just as was true when this meeting with Gangaji occurred six weeks after 9/11. In this video, Gangaji encourages us to “take that unknown-ness in, and recognize the indefinable fulfillment that is unknowable.” “In any moment of facing the unknown, you can simply stop, be still, and open your mind lucidly to the fears you have kept covered, just out of sight. Then when you speak with someone who agrees with you or disagrees with you, there is something deeper you are bringing to the table. There is something alive that welcomes all, and knows itself as all.”

Is Awakening for You?

September 26, 1999
Marin County, CA

In this video, Gangaji debunks the myth that only rare and special ones can realize the truth. Through each interaction, Gangaji cuts through perceived obstacles such as physical illness, childhood trauma, fear of death, the question of freewill, and so much more, to reveal that awakening is available for everyone.

“The willingness, the commitment, the resolve to discover what cannot be known by the mind must be huge, but it is always available to everyone. Certainly, anyone who feels the call and who is somehow touched by a longing for the deepest truth.”

The End of Ignorance is the Gold of Self-Realization
“To be true to the eternal truth of yourself is to ignore nothing.” Our spiritual discovery of the absolute truth of one’s being can be turned into a hiding place, where we ignore harsh realities and deny the cruelest aspects of our shared humanity. Ignorance is not “bliss.” Rather, it is the root of all suffering. In this powerful monologue delivered in 1999, Gangaji shares that the end of ignorance and our willingness to be all is the “gold of self-realization.”

Are You Defending Yourself from Imagined Harm? Questioning our Strategic Assumptions
“The reality of true surrender is an open expansion of consciousness, not needing to assert itself anywhere, not needing to defend itself, not needing to seduce another in order to be safe, but simply open to spaciousness.” When we consider how we avoid true surrender, we expose how we resist it.  This in turn exposes […]
