Who is Gangaji?

Gangaji offers to ordinary people leading ordinary lives the invitation to fully recognize the absolute freedom and unchanging peace that is the truth of one’s being.

Since 1990, Gangaji has traveled the world speaking to people from all walks of life. Through her life and words, she powerfully articulates how it is really possible to discover the truth of who you are and be true to that discovery.

What to Expect

Gangaji will meet with the group via the Zoom conferencing platform. After you register, you will be sent a link to our online meeting hall, where you will find links for each meeting, daily schedule and more.
 

Speaking with Gangaji

During the weekend you will have to opportunity to raise your hand to speak with Gangaji. We will give you instructions on how to do that in this virtual environment. Gangaji will take questions as time allows.

Accessing the Meetings

After you register  you will be sent a link to our virtual satsang hall. There you will find links to all meetings, the daily schedule and a tech help button if you need support.

 

A Note About Privacy and Recordings

During this online program, your likeness will be visible to Gangaji and other participants. Additionally, the audio and video of this program will be recorded. Before you register for this event we will ask for your consent for the recordings to be made and potentially used on the Gangaji website.   • Devices: desktop computer, tablet, or phone.
  • Internet Connection: 5-10mbps minimum download speed is recommended. Check your connection at www.speedtest.net.
  • System Requirements: Mac OS X 10.7 or higher, Windows 7 or higher. iOS 7.0 or later, Android 4.0 or higher.
  • Camera and Microphone: for best results use your device’s built-in web camera and audio. Plug in a headset to prevent audio echo.
  • Zoom App: Download the Zoom app to your device for free here.

About Scholarships

If you need to cancel your registration, please email us at info@gangaji.org or call 541-482-3100, ext. 221 and leave a message.

If you cancel on or before Oct 3 your full payment minus $50.00 will be refunded.

We use the Zoom platform to connect to our Online Meeting with Gangaji.  We know new technology can be challenging. Here are our recommendations for the best experience using zoom.

  • Go to zoom.us in advance and create a free account.
  • Download the zoom app on your smartphone, tablet, or computer.
  • Start up the app then Sign in with your new account credentials.
  • Familiarize yourself with zoom and let us know if you have questions.

Joining a Meeting With a Password

  1. If a meeting has a password associated with it, it will be shown on the page near the meeting link and meeting ID.
  2. When you click on the link and Zoom opens, it will ask you to enter the password.

How to raise your hand

  1. If you would like to speak to Gangaji to raise your hand click on the participant icon.
  2. This opens the participant panel.
  3. Select Raise hand from the bottom of the panel.

  1. If you would like to see Gangaji of the current speaker tap the top right icon to switch to Speaker View.
  2. To see all attendees you can switch back to Gallery View.

  1. If Gangaji calls on you we will promote you to a panelist. This allows you to Start You Video.

  2. Tap on the three dots More button in the top right.
  3. Click on the Raise Hand choice at the bottom of the menu that opens.

  1. If would like to see Gangaji or the current speaker, tap anywhere on the screen to open the controls.
  2. In the upper left, tap on Speaker View.

  1. Tap anywhere on the screen to open the controls.
  2. If the video icon is the upper right has a red line through it, tap on it once to start your video so Gangaji can see you.

Small Groups retreats are designed for those who want to take a deeper dive into self-inquiry with Gangaji. The size of the retreats is limited to 40 or 50 people, and they are not filmed or recorded. To support the intimacy and depth of each small group retreat, Gangaji asks that you fulfill a simple prerequisite by:
